Thursday Non-Cartoon Intro - Eerie Indiana

I've decided that every once in a while I'm going to post a non-cartoon intro to a television show from the 80's or 90's that I used to watch. This way I can reeeaallllyyy stretch out the cartoon intros. Hopefully some of the shows will be familiar to everyone reading.

This week's non-cartoon intro is EERIE INDIANA! Eerie Indiana was a kids sci-fi/horror show. Each week Marshall Teller and his friend Simon Holmes came across "eerie" and unusual things in their town. I loved Eerie Indiana and still pop the DVD into the player every once in a while.

Joe Dante was creative consultant and director on a few of the episodes and the show also had some great guest stars - Danielle Haris (Halloween 4, 5, remake), Tobey Maguire, Vincent Schiavelli (Ghost, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) and even Joe Dante makes an appearance in one episode. Joe Dante directed numerous episodes and Tom Holland directed the final episode of the series. It's a real shame this series only lasted 19 episodes.

Next week begins a four week look at the HE-MAN and He-Man spinoff intros!
