French Connection/To Live and Die in L.A. - Friedkin Q&A

Over the weekend of January 22nd and 23rd, the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica held two double bill William Friedkin screenings. The first night consisted of The French Connection and To Live and Die in L.A. The second night featured Sorcerer and The Exorcist. Friedkin was there both nights for a discussion between each of the films.

Once again, French Connection and To Live and Die in L.A. are not horror movies, but I highly recommend any horror fans to check these movies out. I had never seen either of them before and they have quickly become two of my favourite movies.

For those that are interested, here is the Q&A with William Friedkin for The French Connection/To Live and Die in L.A. screening. William Petersen and Debra Feuer join Friedkin on stage in the second and third videos to discuss To Live and Die in LA. Also, for all the horror fans out there, in one of the last videos Friedkin talks a little bit about The Exorcist. Most of The Exorcist discussion happened during the Sorcerer/Exorcist screening...which I will post next week.

Sorry about big head and baldy getting in the shot!
